Privacy statement
Who processes your data
Rentarado is a trade name of Florametric B.V., established in the Netherlands ([postal address to be added], Chamber of Commerce [number to be added]). Florametric B.V. is the controller for the data processed through this website. Privacy questions: info@rentarado.com.
What we process through this site
This website is an information site with a single form. We only process what you fill in yourself and what the server technically needs.
- Access request: company name, your name, email address, optionally a phone number, country, rental type, fleet size and your message.
- Web server logs: IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser type. Our hosting provider creates these logs; they are needed for security and troubleshooting.
- Spam protection: when you submit a request we briefly store a hashed reference to your IP address to limit abuse of the form.
Why, and on what legal basis
We use the data from your request to contact you about that request and to assess whether Rentarado suits your business. The basis is your consent, given with the form, together with our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
Cookies and measurement
This site sets no cookies for statistics, advertising or profiling, and uses no trackers. That is also why there is no cookie banner. Fonts are loaded through Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address. If you would rather avoid that, you can block web fonts in your browser; the site stays perfectly readable.
Who else can see your data
- Our hosting provider, for running the website and delivering email. Servers are located in the European Union.
- Our email provider, because your request reaches us as an email.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for purposes other than those described above.
How long we keep it
We keep a request for up to 24 months after the contact is finished, so we can reach out when a place becomes available. If you become a customer, the data moves to our customer administration with its own retention period. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a few weeks. You can always ask for earlier deletion.
Your rights
You may access your data, have it corrected or deleted, have processing restricted, withdraw your consent and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to info@rentarado.com; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, or with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
About the software itself
This statement covers this website. If you use Rentarado as a rental company, we act as processor for the data in your environment and you are the controller. We cover that in a data processing agreement at the start.
Changes
If this statement changes, we update the date at the top. For a material change we inform the people we are already in touch with.
